Paul Grundtisch Hockey Schools:  These are Power Skating and Specialty Schools designed to improve the players overall skating and skill level...You can register on-line for any of these specialty clinics. Print a 2010 Camp Brochure.

Steal the Show Defenseman & Overspeed Training Camps:  These specialized instructional camps will be held the week of July 26 - 30 @ Holiday Twin Rinks and the week of August 16 - 20 @ Leisure Rinks. These camps will feature specific areas of concentration that will improve the players techniques and skills. The school will be instructed by Terry Miller. H.I.T. - High Intensity Training Hockey School: This school is designed for the hockey player who is looking to further develop the skating and skill aspect of their individual game.  The camp will focus on: balance, edge work, puck work and recognizing and reacting to game situations.  We will place a special emphasis on defensive positioning and technique.  June 28 - July 2 @ Holiday Twin Rinks.   9:00 - 12:00 noon each day.  Cost is $ 250.00.  Instructed by Tom Dockery and Kyle Quick.  Call 807-6264 or email Tom Dockery for more details.

 

Turcotte Stick Handling School Coming to Holiday Twin Rinks July 12 - 16, 2010 this specialized school is now in it's 37th year. With a student teacher ratio of 6 to 1 students will receive intense individual instruction including Stickhandling/Shooting, Power Skating as well as Team Skills and 4 on 4 Scrimmage games. Groups for Mites/Squirts 9:00 - 11:00 am & Pee Wee/Bantam 11:00 - 1:00 pm. Features 2 hours of ice time per Day. Cost is $ 295.00.

Skinner Hockey Intensive Stickhandling School is coming to Holiday Twin Rinks, June 28 - July 2.  Experience the best training in the world on Stickhandling.  Skinner Hockey presents a very challenging program with the latest cutting edge techniques and moves that are creating the best hockey players the world has ever seen.  Approximately 90 players from 3 different age groups will participate in a 2 hour on-ice session per day for 5 days.  Players will learn over 120 different stickhandling agility techniques and over 12 different moves, fakes and dekes.  We guarantee that players will learn to perform all kinds of skills that they were unable to execute prior to these training sessions.  Skinner Hockey will dramatically improve a player's stickhandling ability as well as their confidence.  The cost is $200 and the groups are approximately 11am -1pm 8 - 10 year olds, 1pm - 3pm 11 - 12 year olds, and 3pm - 5pm 13 and up.  To register please go to www.stickhandling.com.

National Powerskating 2010 Summer Program This 10 week summer program @ Holiday Twin Rinks (June 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25 and August 1, 8 & 15)  6:10 – 9:10 pm @ Holiday Twin rinks and will cover all aspects of technical skating instruction as well as puck handling and individual skills. The intense 50 minutes sessions will teach your skater the foundations and fundamentals to skating with SPEED and CONTROL both with and without the puck. There will be 3 Sessions. Session A (Skaters 4 to 7). Session B (Skaters 8 to 10). Session B (Skaters 9 & Older). Steal the Show Presidents Week Powerskating/Overspeed Camp: The Overspeed clinic is designed to give the hockey player confidence in playing the game at a faster speed while handling the puck and reading the ice to make plays and score.  This Presidents Week Camp will be held Feb 15 - 19 @ Holiday Twin Rinks. Class is for ages 8 and older - male and females are welcome.
